A Little Different. A Lot More Fun.
Welcome to Minimox — where everyday shopping meets a little excitement!
We're a proudly South African online store with a simple mission: to bring you unique, exciting and interesting products that make everyday life a little more enjoyable.
From remote-controlled vehicles and clever gadgets to quirky gifts, gaming accessories and unusual home essentials, we love finding products that make people stop and say, "That's actually pretty cool!"
But Minimox didn't start by accident. It grew from years of retail experience, a passion for entrepreneurship and a genuine enjoyment of making customers happy.
Our Story – From Health & Wellness to Gifts & Gadgets
Hi, I'm Andrew Nichols, founder of Minimox.
My entrepreneurial journey began in the health and wellness industry, where I established and operated businesses including Nutriverse, Nutriverse Healthy Meals and Legion Health.
Over the years, I gained valuable experience in retail, e-commerce, product sourcing, customer relationships and building a business around customer satisfaction.
One of the most rewarding parts of that journey was seeing happy customers, receiving positive feedback and knowing that we were providing products and services people genuinely appreciated.
After eventually selling the business, one thing became clear: I really missed the retail environment.
I missed discovering products, building relationships with customers and the excitement of running an online store.
But this time, I wanted to do something a little different.
Why Minimox?
While the health and wellness industry was rewarding, I wanted our next venture to focus on something that brings a different kind of happiness.
Fun. Excitement. Curiosity. And the joy of discovering something unexpected.
That's how Minimox was born.
We wanted to create an online destination where people could find gifts and gadgets that are a little out of the ordinary — products that spark interest, encourage creativity or simply put a smile on someone's face.
Whether it's an RC vehicle that brings out your adventurous side, a unique gift for someone special or a clever gadget you never knew you needed, we believe shopping should be enjoyable.
Carefully Selected. Not Just Another Online Store.
At Minimox, our aim isn't to list thousands of random products.
We prefer to focus on finding interesting items that offer something different.
We look for products that combine creativity, functionality, entertainment and value — things we'd be excited to discover ourselves.
And although our product range is very different from our previous businesses, our approach remains the same:
Treat customers well, offer products we're proud to sell and build a business people can trust.
Proudly South African
Minimox is based in South Africa, and we're excited to bring our growing collection of gifts, gadgets and unique finds to customers across the country.
We're continually exploring new products and expanding our range, so there's always something interesting on the horizon.
Most importantly, we want our customers to enjoy the experience of shopping with us — from discovering something exciting to receiving that eagerly awaited parcel.
Thanks for Being Part of Our Journey!
Whether you're buying a gift, treating yourself or simply browsing for something unusual, we're glad you found us.
Minimox is more than just another online store. It's our way of sharing the excitement of discovering great products with people who appreciate something a little different.
Thank you for supporting our South African business. We look forward to bringing you plenty more exciting finds!
